About Us
Elwood Angling Club Inc. welcomes new members. The club, established in 1901, has a clubhouse on the foreshore at Elwood Beach, with boat space and a well appointed area for meetings and functions.
Members can rent clubhouse space for their own boats or hire one of the four club boats. Apart from Angling, the club has an attractive program of social events.
Competitions are held throughout the year for a variety of fish in the Bay, Western Port, Goulburn, Gippsland Rivers and Surf, for both the experienced and novice. An annual club presentation night is held to celebrate the year's fishing with awards and activities.
Memberships
The following fees apply for 2008-2009.
Annual - Ordinary - $95.
Annual - Family - $105 (including spouse, partner and all children under 18).
Club Room Bookings
The club has panoramic views of the Elwood foreshore and facilities to cater for up to 200 people onsite. Non Members can hire the Club rooms at very competitive rates.
Visitors
Visitors are welcome to attend the meetings which are held each Thursday night starting at 8pm.
