Mollusc No Take Zone

Molluscs must not be taken from the intertidal zone between Thompsons Creek and Arch Rock, except that you may take squid, cuttlefish and octopus by fishing line or speargun. Dead shells, squirters and pipis may be taken by the use of bare hands or feet (excluding Port Phillip).

(all species other than abalone , mussels , scallops , squid , octopus and cuttlefish )

MINIMUM LEGAL SIZE: no minimum.

BAG/POSSESSION LIMIT: total limit of 5 litres per person (or if shucked 1 litre per person) for one or more species.

VEHICLE LIMIT: 15 litres (or if shucked 3 litres) in a vehicle containing 3 or more persons.

(*Molluscs include snails, slugs, bivalves, chitons and limpets.)
