Type of fishing: Boat
Target fish: Brown and rainbow trout.
Best times: August-September, mornings 8am-11am, afternoons 2.30pm-5.30pm.
Tackle: Trolling using a variety of Tassie devils and Swagman lures (the Jumbuck).
Baits: See Tackle above.
Best spots: From the Jeruselum boat ramp up to the Big River Arm.
Long shot: Yellowbelly using the Jumbuck as well.
Parking: No cost for parking and good access.
Ramps: Work has been done on the Jeruselum boat ramp so even at low water levels it is all concrete.
Safety: (No info supplied.)
Amenities: Caravan parks are avalable and a general store with everthing from food, drinks to tackle and a floating petrol station.
Kids: No.
Pets: No.
Last word: As the waters rise so do the fish and it's one of the only locations that can be fished all year round.
