Your Licence Fees at Work
The
Victorian Government has recently established a dedicated Trust Fund
for revenue from fishing licence fees. A Financial Report on
expenditure of the funds will be prepared by 1 October each year for
tabling in Parliament.
A
Fisheries Revenue Allocation Committee (FRAC) has been appointed to
advise the Minister on distribution of funds. The committee includes
recreational fishing representatives. For further information call 136
