Sorry mate don't know where it is... what general area is it in? Often hear 5 different names for the same spot so I might know it by something else...

to you mean mc haffie reef? if it is i havent got a gps mark but its in between bouy 5 and 7 off ventnor in close

Hey Eddo,

Probably the place you mean is Mc Haffies Reef which is down the western channel toward the entrance. It is around buoy 7.

Buoy 7 is roughly GPS marks. S. 38 27 267, E. 145 10 158.

At that point look toward the Island and slightly to your right you will see a small point coming from the Phillip Island that is Mc Haffie Reef.

Try off the Cowes Yacht Club in around 3 mts and also off the Cowes Caravan Park in the same depth. We had luck there over January. I had no luck off Mc Haffies but there were boaters catching em there in around 3 to 5 mts where there is sand and weed.

Good luck. Get yourself a fishing map from one of the stores or tackle shops and all the marks are on the map and reefs etc.
