Mustad's trio of large Flasher rigs are multi-hook attractor rigs aimed at serious target fish. Mustad's Big Red Flasher Rig, Long Red Flasher Rig and Demon Terakihi Flasher Rig are now available in Australia.

Mustad Flasher rigs turn routine bottom-bouncing into something special. The flasher material enhances the appeal of the bait as the angler jigs the rig up and down. Although these rigs can catch fish without bait, they work best when used in conjunction with natural bait. Mustad calls them enhanced natural bait fishing systems .

The Big Red Flasher comes in line sizes from 30lb to 60lb and uses Mustad's chemically sharpened Big Red Ultra Point hooks. The Long Red Flasher is similarly sized and tied on the Mustad Long Red, a special long shanked beak hook for holding large baits. Both have 3 droppers and are built for serious target fish, right up to heavy reef species.

The Demon Terakihi Flasher rig, developed in new Zealand, uses Mustad's Demon Fine Gauge Circle hook and suits the many light-medium weight fish such as trevally, morwong, snapper and flathead.

These rigs are not just overgrown bait jigs but purpose designed for serious target fish. Mustad has made these products as user-friendly as possible. New purpose-built, re-usable packaging incorporates a foam winder for easy storage of rigs after use. The rigs are designed with trace and dropper lengths that make fishing easy.
