AVENGER  BAIT  FEEDER  REELS

Anglers looking for a reasonably priced reel for spinning and bait fishing will be interested in Okuma's "Avenger" Bait Feeder range. 

With gear ratios of 5.0:1 on the smaller sizes and 4.5:1 on the larger models, plus the additional advantage of the free spool feature, it's the ideal choice for a dual purpose reel.

Avengers have a graphite body with a silver finish, an anodised aluminium spool, a smooth gasket sealed drag with fine click adjustment, and a strong aluminium handle. The spare graphite spool that comes with the reel has an aluminium front and lip for improved casting performance.      

The drive train has six stainless steel ball bearings and a Quick Set anti reverse bearing to prevent backward movement of the handle. Spare gaskets for the gearbox cover plate come with the reel.                

Avenger's Bait Feeder lever allows the angler to set the reel in free spool when bait fishing.  Timid fish can take the bait without feeling any resistance, and the ratchet alerts the angler who flicks the lever down to engage the gears and drag while setting the hook.

There are four models in the Avenger Bait Feeder series ranging from the ABF 20, with a spool capacity of 140 metres of 2KG line, up to the ABF 80 which holds 340 metres of 8KG.
