"X-POWER" POWERTIP COMBOS

Silstar's X-Power Combos are ideal outfits for anglers who like fishing with reliable tackle but don't want the hassle of matching reels with rods.

All rods in the X-Power range are Silstar "Power Tips"-tubular graphite and fibreglass rods tapering to a clear, solid fibreglass tip with exceptional strength.

Spinning reels in these outfits have four ball bearings (including an anti-reverse bearing), and a ported spool housing a front drag.

The Combo shown is an XPC-702NT - a two piece, 7 ft nibble tip rod with an XP-40 reel that has a spool capacity of 195yds of 6lb line. The soft nibble tip is ideal to allow timid fish to mouth the bait without being spooked.

The X-Power Combos include 6ft spinning rods, 6ft and 7ft boat rods, a 7ft snapper rod plus 7ft and 8ft general purpose rods, all with matching reels.

Specialist outfits include a 5ft 6in baitcast rod with a matched reel, a baitfeeder reel with a 7ft rod, and a 12ft surf rod plus a large XP-80 reel.
