Eagle SeaCharter® 642c DF iGPS – internal antenna dual-frequency combo

Eagle’s SeaCharter® 642c DF iGPS is a full-size, powerful dual-frequency sonar/chartplotter complete with a rugged, space-saving built-in precision GPS+WAAS antenna.

A brilliant 12.5cm (diagonal), 256-colour, enhanced TFT sunlight-readable display allows wide-angle viewing, while the super-sharp 640x480 pixel resolution with COLORLINE™ allows pinpoint identification of structure, thermoclines and fish. An Overlay Data feature displays GPS data on sonar screens and sonar data on GPS screens.

A dual-frequency 50/200kHz Skimmer® transom-mount transducer together with 4000 watts peak-to-peak (500 watts RMS) power output gives positive depth sounding and fish finding (with 50kHz) down to nearly 460m!

Among an impressive list of innovative standard features are FishReveal™ and HyperScroll™ functions. FishReveal™ identifies sonar returns from fish hiding in structure including weedbeds, thermoclines and surface clutter, while HyperScroll™ allows for manual adjustment of the ping speed of the transducer for greater fish detection at high speeds. Temperature/speed/distance displays are also standard.

GPS information is derived via a 12-parallel channel internal GPS+WAAS receiver with very accurate plotting via MMC Navionics and NauticPath™ charting. Up to 100 routes / 1000 waypoints / 1000 event markers and 100 saveable and retraceable plot trails with up to 10,000 points per trail provide superior navigation, using 40 map zoom ranges from 0.03-6400km.

Simple to operate, with easy-to-follow and remember menu functions, the SeaCharter® 642c DF iGPS has a back-up memory which saves customised settings, is fully sealed and waterproof, and comes with a full two-year warranty. RRP is $1749.
