Super-fast Lowrance Combos

Brand new for 2007, Lowrance’s LMS 520C and LMS 525C DF full-colour combo units boast hyper-enhanced sonar/chartplotter data processing speeds and super-fast screen updates.

Both units feature a 125mm (diagonal), 256-colour SolarMAX™ TFT display for maximum visibility and wide viewing angles even in bright sunlight, 480x480 pixel resolution for superb sonar target detail/separation and exceptional chart definition, and advanced fluorescent cold-cathode screen and keypad backlighting.

The LMS 520C’s high-speed 200kHz Skimmer® transducer (built-in temperature sensor) with 2400 watts peak-to-peak power provides depth sounding down to 275m with up to 60º of fish detection coverage. The LMS 525C DF’s dual-frequency 50/200kHz Skimmer® transducer (built-in temp/speed/distance readings) together with 4000 watts peak-to-peak power output gives positive depth sounding and fish finding (with 50kHz) down to an incredible 760m.

Both units derive GPS information via a 12-parallel channel GPS+WAAS receiver with very accurate plotting via MMC Navionics or NauticPath™ charting. Up to 100 routes / 1000 waypoints / 1000 event markers and 100 saveable and retraceable plot trails with up to 10,000 points per trail provide superior navigation, using 40 map zoom ranges from 0.03-6400km. Over 40 graphic icons are installed to mark key spots, and arrival, off course and anchor alarms are also featured. Resizable windows and sonar/GPS data overlay allow a range of data to be displayed on the screen simultaneously.

The LMS 520C and LMS 525C DF are NMEA 2000 compatible, which allows a massive range of information to be monitored and shared throughout the boat via the innovative LowranceNET system. Each unit also has a five-pin Ethernet expansion port compatible for radar, video and satellite radio, as well as two full RS-232 ports.

Simple to operate, with easy-to-follow and remember menu functions, the units have a back-up memory which saves customised settings, are fully sealed and waterproof, and come with a protective cover and full two-year warranty.
