Offshore anglers will appreciate the fish-catching potential of the "Live Mackerel" baits released by Williamson Lures.

The "Live Spotted Mackerel" (top of photo) is a big bait -305mm - (12inches) long and favoured by Marlin and other large predators. It has a life like swimming action at an incredible trolling speed of up to 9 knots, with a tail hole that permits the rig of a stinger hook or use on a daisy chain.

Its strong soft plastic construction, patented wing design, and holographic colours combine to give a realistic and enticing appearance. It comes pre-rigged with a 10/0 VMC hook and 1.8 metres of 130KG line.

"Live Mackerel" baits (bottom of photo) are 178mm (7in) long and pre-rigged with a single 8/0 VMC hook on 1.5 metres of 58KG line. Two colours are available with a holographic background - blue and green.

A favourite bait of Marlin and Tuna, Live Mackerel lures imitate the swimming action of the real bait fish if trolled up to 6 knots. Their multiple rigging ports allow a varitety of options.
