 Jarrod Day

From a young and enthusiastic age, Jarrod spent many years fishing the coastline of Phillip Island and the Mornington Peninsula. He has fished regularly for over 20 years, chasing anything from yellowfin tuna, to trout and Australian natives.
This experience and passion has also lead Jarrod into fishing journalism, and he contributes fishing material across the spectrum of print, radio, TV and the internet - including this weekly Western Port report for fishvictoria.com.
He has gained further valuable knowledge and contacts through working in the fishing tackle industry, and is genuinely interested in helping anglers of all standards to enjoy their fishing and catch more fish.
