This rig allows the bait to be preset to any depth the angler wants. The float moves the leader up the main line to the height the line stopper is set to.

This is very good when trying to get away from starfish, lice and also for a swinging boat, the bait stays in the direction of the current.

You can target a specific depth that the fish may be holding at. At times it may need a heavier than normal sinker.

Any style of strip baits can be used as well as pilchard style baits.
