From: Rhys Macreadie

Here is a nice Murray cod I got up the bidge near Balranald over the X-mas holidays. Got him on Coon cheese. I found out a new idea with the cheese. I had left the cheese in the boat on a 42 degree day in the sun. I came back and saw that the cheese was almost runny. I let it dry a little, cut it into slices and I could thread it through the hook twice. It also stayed on better too...it was a good idea i thought got 3 keepers at 56cm, 58cm and this beauty at 63cm.

(Editor's Note: fishvictoria encourages catch and release fishing, particularly for native freshwater fish.)
