Hooked onto this thresher shark while fishing for snapper at Black Rock in 12 metres using silver whiting. After about a 30 minute battle, a few laps around the boat and a great aerial display, we got it next to the boat and managed to get a few good snaps before cutting the line ourselves. What a thrill.
