 Wanting to stock dam with troutTim Fitt writes: I would like to stock our dam with trout only I don't know how to start, such as, where can I get them from to begin with? I live in Bendigo and am willing to travel if need be. Also, what are the likely prices and how many fish should be a good amount for a dam of about 30sq metres? Another question I have is, our other dam has no vegetation in it whatsoever, however it is larger than our first dam and would be a better spot for breeding the fish. Are there any types of vegetation I could put into this dam that would grow easily, and if so, where would I get it from and how do you "plant" it? Thanks! (1 July 2002)
