Help needed with filleting

Terence Barrett writes:
Hi all :) Just caught my first fish at the Warmies, it was a 800g tailor. Got it home looking forward to having a feed, but made a dogs breakfast of filleting the bl***dy thing. Can someone please tell me the correct way of gutting and filleting fish? Thanks.

Hi Terance, there's been quite a few tips posted on filleting and cleaning various types of fish. For a start, have a look at the following:
- Help with filleting flathead
- Need help catching, cleaning garfish
- Filleting, cooking tips needed for redfin
- fishvictoria Filleting Tips page
Good luck. Matt.
