Looking for kids fishing spots around Warrnambool

I am going to Warrnambool during the school holidays. I am after some information on fishing spots to take 2 young boys fishing, preferably shore fishing.

Craig Gibbs replies:
Hi Ian, there is really on two spots in Warrnambool suitable for fishing with youngsters, although it obviously depends on there age. Anyway for river fishing simply take them to the lowers parts of the Hopkins River. From there you can fish from a very safe bridge or walk several hundred metres and fish from sand banks. Bream, mullet, perch, salmon etc can all be caught here. If it's saltwater fishing you're after take them to the breakwater. From here you will/can catch anything from whiting and flathead to snapper and gummies. Hope this helps a little. Cheers Craig.
