Murray cod for bait, what's the world coming to?

The other day after fishing the low tide out of Warneet and catching bugger all we decided to pack it up and go home. On arriving at the ramp I overheard someone who was very happy with themselves because they had caught a snapper.
      Well Done! But when I heard that he had caught it on a MURRAY COD fillet I thought what a WANKER. This species is in decline and this person???? was using it for bait. What's the world coming to?
