What happened to consultation on Marine Parks?

It's a shame that all the People who were supposedly consulted were ignored. I can see the benefit of Marine Parks but really banning fishing while everything else goes on around it is ridiculous. I will have to reporgram my GPS and all my favourite marks fall into the "Marine Park" at Ricketts Point, Beaumaris. I can swim, dive, sail, ski, walk but not fish !! Where has the sanity gone?
