Seeking info on rods stolen from boat

Just a quick note to say that early October my boat and trailer were at an auto electrician in Warrnambool having some wiring done. After they finished wiring the boat it sat beside their shed for 2 hours until I could pick it up, it was then parked up my driveway for 4 hours until I knocked off work. During this time my 2 boat rods were stolen. A week later it was reported that a man about 30yo was trying to sell boat rods along the river mouth in Port Fairy for $15ea.
