Undersized fish taken to Queenscliff
Brett Phillips writes:
While fishing the Queenscliff boat harbour the other day I noticed under sized trevally being taken. These fish would have been 15-17cms in length. The legal length of these fish is 20cm or has the minimum legal size changed? Let's put these undersized fish back so we can catch them next year, and the kids of the future can catch them. These people know who they are because I questioned them about not throwing them back.
(Editor's note: Yes Brett, the minimum legal size for silver trevally is 20cm.)
