Surf was flat, but there wasn't any sand bar which meant there was plenty of room for the swell sharks to come in close. Surf is unfishable, unless you want to stick it out catching swell sharks one after another. |

Big salmon early on then a feeding frenzy with the barracouta for about 20 mins. Lots of whitebait washed up on the shore and all fish had a gut full of them. |

Saturday morning I caught 5 salmon and my friend 1, all with lazer lures. Sunday morming he caught 1gummy shark on bonito and 1 salmon. I caught 1 salmon and 1 tailor on a lazer again. They were only on in the morning till 9am and then they went off the bite-was a good day. |

Awesome night out, hoping for more elephant fish but they were both good size. Gummy was a great fight as usual. Dropped something big, took the line and went as it was being reeled in snapped the line but was a good night anyway. |
