Location: Buxton Time: 11am-1pm
Type of Water: River Type of Fishing: Shore
Target Fish: Trout
Bait\Lure\Fly: Hard-bodied lures, spinners
Fish Caught: 1 x brown trout @ very small
Comments: Very nice river, good to see it's clean down there. Got the really small brown on small brown trout Stumpjumper (same size as the scorpion 35's), the brown trout was about 150mm. Just as I pulled the lure up he jumped out of the water and hit it. A few people fishing there, no one I saw or talked to got any thing. Still a good few hours.

Location: Acheron River Time: 12pm
Type of Water: River Type of Fishing: Shore
Target Fish: Trout
Bait\Lure\Fly: Powerbait
Fish Caught: 2 x rainbow @ 2lb
3 x rainbow @ 2.5lb
1 x rainbow @ 5lb+
Comments: Thought I would battle the long weekend traffic and go for a fish! Fished a quiet spot where I had caught fish before and sure enough there was fish again. Got the fish excited with some berley first, then a hot bite for an hour of so saw 6 fish in total landed and let got to spawn. Lost a larger fish that looked like a big buck brown that bit me off, I would say about 8-9lb (big fish for a small stream hey). Now the season is over time to hit the lakes, well what's left of them!! Happy fishing, Willow.

Location: Taggerty Time: 6am- 5pm
Type of Water: River Type of Fishing: Shore
Target Fish: Rainbow and brown trout
Bait\Lure\Fly: Various flies
Fish Caught: 41 x brown trout @ 600g
Comments: Top day to fish so put in some long hours, all day. Walked the whole length of the river from Tumbling Waters. Sighted many trout and fished flies to them accordingly. Most taken on dries after riffles. Saw foxes and plenty of bunnies, especially after the car wreck. There was rubbish which is only left behind by the careless bait fishos. All browns were in top nick and all released. No mayfly hatches were seen just a few in the willows.
