Fishing for trout, most black fish caught at night. Got the nice trout at about 3pm. All on worms, also plenty of small reddies. All fish but trout released, he is heading for the smoker. |

Heard squid was the go for freshwater rivers and it worked a treat, fish loved it. The boat was a tight squeeze in the river as it is very narrow, water was turbid. All in all fab day. |

Nice and quiet away from the bigger rivers. Fished the Steavenson river early and took two pan sized rainbows in the faster water on Yellow Sally. Moved to the Taggerty river where there were a lot of delicate rises in the glides before the faster water. The CDC & Elk was taken enthusiastically. All fish returned. |
