We were happy for anything that jumped on the hook that weekend. The "catch of the day" was the 46cm snapper caught by my partner's 11 year old daughter! |

Plenty of salmon around but we were focusing on the whiting at Stevies Gutter, plenty around but mostly too small. |

Went for the whiting in the early afternoon but all too small, started trolling for salmon around 2pm and bang they were on non-stop for 3hours. Had a few on around 2kg (maybe 50cm+) but got them to the boat, jumped out of the water and off they went. Kept 25 the first day and 15 the next day. So much fun (see photo in Galley section). |
