Had a ball catching the salmon on a 3-5kg 7 foot backbone rod. Especially the 2.5 fish. Squid worked best. |

Fished Anderson's Inlet at Pensioners Point on the incoming tide. Fish never really came on the bite, all whiting very timid even with fresh nippers fished on fluoro-carbon leaders. Overall a nice relaxing arvo on the water, berley hard and use fresh bait in this area and you will most often be rewarded. |

Went out to 50 metere mark and berleyed to 40m. Got the blue on dads 20 year old Penn Senator (note to dad get drag rings replaced) then drifted into 37m and foul hooked the mako. |
