Bit annoying that they are all too small (all released). We got a couple of big ones. The key to Anglesea is to try different things, experiment with different baits and rigs.

Lots of bites, all too small to keep. Had a couple of bigger bites which were probably 25cm+ bream but no luck bringing them in.
They love the prawns here. I will explore more up and down the river. |

Went up Coalmine rd but only got small ones. The small ones in there are really bloody annoying! Went to another spot and started to run out of prawns so I cast my last 5 prawns at a certain bunch of rocks and got all 3 good sized bream in a matter of 10mins or less. I reckon there were more at that spot too but I ran out of prawns and went home. |
