Went up Coalmine rd but only got small ones. The small ones in there are really bloody annoying! Went to another spot and started to run out of prawns so I cast my last 5 prawns at a certain bunch of rocks and got all 3 good sized bream in a matter of 10mins or less. I reckon there were more at that spot too but I ran out of prawns and went home.

Fished near the car bridge and fish were really on the bite. All fish landed were undersize but hooked onto a couple of big ones which got away in the reeds. Good day fishing though and a lot of fun.

Location: Angelsea River Time: 2.30pm-5pm
Type of Water: Estuary Type of Fishing: Pier
Target Fish: Bream
Bait\Lure\Fly: Glassies, gulps
Fish Caught: 5 x bream @ 15cm
1 x bream @ 34.5cm
1 x salmon @ 20cm
1 x mullet @ 20cm
Comments:

Very slow for the river. It was dirty and there were too many mullet, I even got one on just with a hook. Some people came to feed the ducks so I cast under the bread with a whole glassie rigged like a plastic and got nailed by the 34.5cm bream. Very good size for Anglesea and a great fight. Didn't get any bream on the plastics which was odd but I did get the small salmon.
