Flat-ish morning until the cold front came in, fishing was quite dead but I did catch a nice size banjo shark which I released after photos. |

Fished off a small jetty near the bridge. Great spot for a beginner like myself for a bit of mucking around with the kids. All bream way undersize - all released, as was mullet. |

Took the kids to Anglesea for a quick fish; little bream were in plague proportions, but managed two fish just on size. All released. Bait used was frozen prawn fished on 1 kilo line under quill floats, so the kids had a ball. I think the river would be well worth a go on dusk by anyone with the time to gather local Bass yabbies or ghost crabs, as there were some thumping big bream hanging back in the berley. |
