Targeted salmon around the beaches but only pulled up 'coutta. Got onto 2 massive ones late in the evening on whiting gear, great fun! Weather kept us inshore. |

2 surf rods out into the surf while fishing on the inside of the rocks for the whiting. The fish were on the bite, plenty of fish around, really happy with the elephant fish and the whiting. |

Plenty of small bites, bait stealers on pier, 50m up from car park. Changed to smaller hooks and hooked a few. Pipis and squid worked best. Coral fish are a striped angel fish known as a western talma. Could have gone to breakwater but was good fun for my 6yr old hooking the smaller ones. |

Found the trevally after about 20 mins, then got the flatty and toad later that night. There was some seals at the entrance to the harbour which kept the squid out unfortunately. |

Was mainly fishing off the breakwall but didn't get much and nobody was getting anything, so I went up to a local river and caught a few trout. Only fished there for 30 mins but was a happy ending. Famer said he hadn't ever seen anyone ever fish there before so I'm certainly going back. So keep on fishing!!!! |

Fished 300m from breakwall, sounded out a rocky bottom and got on to the reef species straight away. Weather was shocking, had to battle through the parrot fish to get the blue throat, but it's all good fun. |

I went down to Aire River for two nights with the cricket break-up, we had the tinnie with us so we all worked all of the river very hard and caught nothing. Conditions were perfect for the river and surf, the surf beach was extremely quiet, people only mangeded small salmon. |
