Nice day, a little cold at the start but it got warmer. I fished by the lillypads at the far left of the lake. Both were caught just on the edge of the lillypads.
This is only the second time I have been here and I have caught fish with every visit. There are only redfin, carp and eels in here, unless someone knows of anything else thats in there. There are definitely no trout in Aura Vale Lake. If you go with the right lure or the right bait you will catch a few, there are some massive redfin in there to be caught. |

Good place to go when you can't be bothered driving. I couldn't believe how many eels there were. Better than catching nothing though, but I'd still prefer to eat the wagon wheel. |

We were only there for a limited time before darkness fell (once again my constant tardiness attribute was not an asset) but we were still able to hook into a few reddies. This lake, I believe, is a hidden goldmine of fishing right at our doorstep. I will be back soon! |
