Comments: Heard there were some fish about so I decided to check it out. Took a couple of Tassies and hooked on to a little redfin. Went further downstream and caught a nice trout and a carp. Great day out.

Comments: Great spot to fish, a pity all fish were undersize. All fish were released to fight another day.

Comments: Got there Sunday morning, fished with prawns at first then tried something different. We tried sandworms and bites started happening.

2 x mullet @ 15cm, 25cm
1 x carp @ 28cm
1 x bullet head @ 8cm
Comments: Went the day before and early in the morning that day. Had pippies and prawn. Had one good bite which broke the line. Went back later that day with and within 10 minutes the garfish were biting.

Fish Caught: 20 x bream @ 28cm > 31cm
Comments: Tony Dare and Steven Aurish fished the Avon River near Sale, the fish were patchy and hard to find, but once found were very good fish. We only kept the ones over 28cm and released many this size. Very few small fish were caught all day.

Comments: Hello all... well the day was a case of I'm here, your there, your catching fish, but I'M not!!! I saw 2 big flathead brought in and plenty of tiny bream. Well we are off again tonight for a spot of nIght fishing! Good fishin all! Hoo roo!

Comments: The bites were few and far between, small bream I think, there were a lot of carp jumping. I also tried the silver wobbler for a while with no strikes. I'm hoping that one day I can submit a report that tells a tale of a great fishing trip :)) Best of fishing folks, bye for now!

Comments: Pumped lures in hot spot but no fish (bass). Still carp put up a good fight on nibble tip rod.
