Fished the boat ramp under Moorabool St bridge. Plenty of rises and saw a reddie come within 10 feet of me chasing a bug. Chucked my wobbler out butIi probably spooked it. Definitely plenty of fish around the ramp, it's just a matter of catching the buggers. |

Salmon was good but it slipped back into the river. Should have brought a net. Sea snake was strange, not sure exactly what it was but it definitely wasn't an eel, at least not one that I've ever seen. |

Got the salmon first cast on prawn at incoming tide then they went off the bite. I was bobbing a prawn up and down off the pier when the water was high and slack and I was waiting for the ebb tide before I saw a squid follow my prawn. I broke out the squid jig and caught one within 10 seconds! Then had another cast and banged another one just as quick! The school eventually swam away but I was stoked with the catch. |
