Good day with the kids fishing a nice spot on the Barwon entrance, just downstream from the bridge. Heaps of bites, with enough fish retrieved to keep the kids happy. The mullet were perfect bait size, and are in the freezer awaiting deep water duty. |

It was a hot day and the fish were not on the bite much. All fish released, except the mullet which i'll use at Rye back beach for shark fishing. (See photo in Gallery section). |

Had a very early session. With my first cast, I managed a whiting. I knew they were on the bite, perfect conditions and a Run in Tide. Within minutes I caught a very large fish on 6lbs line, I think it was a record, toping the scales at just over 100kg on 6lbs line. It gave no fight whats so ever. I had hooked myself in the finger. The hook was very deep, needed to go to the doctors. Will try again next time. |

Too windy for the bay and the boat. Fished the river at the Sheepwash for small mullet, which were then used as livebait without success. Moved downstream of the bridge on the Ocean Grove side later for a hot bite on good size mullet. |
