Weather was good, some overnight rain, very little wind. Water level was about 5 foot higher than normal. No fish were found so no bragging at the pub. |

Fished all weekend for little result. Was very disappointed after hearing all the good stories about how great the Bemm is. Went up the river and down it, down to Siberia and into mud lake, and even up the entrance channel but just couldn't get any at size. Only got the one at 28cm and then it would have had to have gone to the chiropractors afterwards (released unharmed), and the rest ... stepping on them still wouldn't have gotten them over the mark. |

Greg, Stuart, John, Ray (IRA) and Adrian (Hallsy). Surf started to die off after a couple of days. Lake okay. River boiling with fish luddies, mullet (>1kg), tailor. Never seen such biggies in the river |

Caught all the above with a few friends over Australia Day weekend. Best fishing in a while, only kept some to eat. Luderick on 6lb line and quiver tip rods is great fun. |

Great holiday. Good to get away from home. Fishing was perfect, but disappointed that we could get any perch. Alot of good fish to be caught up there. Wish i was still there but somethings have to come to an end sometime. |

Weather was good, a bit windy most days. Fishing was great all the time, only kept the above fish, caught plenty of undersize fish, not to mention how many good size fish I through back. Only kept what we wanted for a feed of fish. No perch, tried a few times but no luck. Will be going back for sure. |

Lake closed to sea 2 weeks ago.Water warm. Lots of fish caught from shore or boat. Surf producing good fighting fish. Dolphins seen off shore |
