Fishing was terrible. Weather was excellent early on in the day, however cut up a bit rough about 9am. Fished all day, different methods, drifting, jigging, bait, lures and not even a nibble!!! A few boats out - only saw 1 guy catch a tiny reddie. Second time at Cairn Curran and second time leaving empty handed. At least the worms had a swim! :-) |

Not the best times to fish, but you fish when you can. Dropped 12 to 15 feet since mid December. |

First time I've caught a tench. Funny looking fish! Two good size reddies and a carp that gave me hell. Hot day, cold morning, very windy in the open water. (See photo in Gallery section.) |

Good day fishing early, but the fish went off the bite about 11.30am. The surprise of the day was the turtle caught on carp. |
