There were people saying that they were catching a lot of big yellowbelly but for all that time we got two carp and about eight turtles, with all the turtles released. They ought to call it Turtle River. |

It was good fun to catch some fish at a new spot. Caught 2 on the spinner, and 1 under a float with worms. Saw a massive splash over the over side of the river, it happened about 4 times. At first we thought it was a bird, but then we got a glimpse of it, it was a big carp at least 15lb-20lb. Love to catch that thing! |

Was going to go to Lauriston Res but it was too rough and windy so I fished under the bridge in Lauriston. Not a bite on the worms but a massive brown trout followed the squidgy to the bank. Probably got there too late. |
