Top day sharkin' off Cape Woolamai. Some 'couta turned up that were used for bait. The start of the flood tide saw a lovely spirited mako of 40 kilos take a freshly put out half 'couta on 15kg. It was a spirited fight and another successful session aboard my 4.74 centre console rig. Regards, Shaun. |

Second time on the ocean. Fished in 60m of water, 8km off Cape Woolamai as a guest on someone's boat. Not even a nibble from anything on our lines. I was told the water was very calm and the swell was small. My head and stomach disagree!! Not even my best attempts at laying a berley trail helped. Hope I manage another invite. |
