Creek is in better condition than before X-mas when it was very low. Is up another foot since the rains. Still needs another foot in level. Went around bend from usual spot as CFA were doing bush training that evening. Got in through the scrub, and had several good bites on a float and bottom rig. |

I caught the bigger carp on bread with no sinker just a hook, bobbing it with my hands off the pier till I hooked one. Then picked up the rod and brought it in. It took 30 mins to get in and it snapped the top part of my rod. |

River was flowing fast, no fish, no bites. Need advice on bait and what type of rigs people use. Cardinia creek is new to me and I don't have much of an idea up here in Beaconsfield. |
