28 October 2007, Michael
Location: Casey Fields Time: Before dusk
Type of Water: Lake Type of Fishing: Shore
Target Fish: Rainbow trout
Bait\Lure\Fly: Homemade Powerbait
Fish Caught: 5 x rainbow trout @ >30cm
Comments: I always catch fish here. An hour and a half before dusk. Use bait under a float, 5ft past the reeds. Work the bank. Catch the fish, move down the bank, catch the next. It ain't rocket science.

22 October 2007, James
Location: Casey Fields Time: 8.30am-1pm
Type of Water: Lake Type of Fishing: Shore
Target Fish: Trout
Bait\Lure\Fly: Maggotts, corn
Fish Caught: None
Comments: I followed other reports with the float out just from the reeds with maggots on 1 and corn on the other. It was hopeless, I reckon they're in the middle but I ran out of time to change it up.

Location: Casey Fields Time: All day
Type of Water: Lake Type of Fishing: Shore
Target Fish: Trout
Bait\Lure\Fly: Worms, maggots, Powerbait
Fish Caught: None
Comments: The dam is small, muddy, and poor fishing, you're better off going to Bewrick Springs, I caught 5 massive trout there on corn.

Type of Water: Lake Type of Fishing: Shore
Target Fish: Trout
Bait\Lure\Fly: Squidgies, worms

Comments: I went with a friend for the first time. The lake is small with very dirty muddy water. I am surprised something is in here as all say. If I had caught something I would have not eaten it. I won't be back.

14 April 2007, Nick H
Location: Casey Fields Time: 5.15pm-6.30pm
Type of Water: Lake Type of Fishing: Shore
Target Fish: Rainbow trout
Bait\Lure\Fly: Corn, Celtas
Fish Caught: 1 x rainbow @ 34cm
Comments: Read the last post, thought I'd check out corn before taking the kids. Used a Celta while watching the float. No hits at all on the corn, mozzies came to carry me off, then got 1 hit on the Celta. Celta got hooked in the net, took too long to release fish and had to keep it, weighed it at 500g. Mozzies had plenty of bites too. (New to fishing, in case u didn't guess.)

27 March 2007, Ryan
Location: Casey Fields Time: 4pm-7.30pm
Type of Water: Lake Type of Fishing: Shore
Target Fish: Rainbow trout
Bait\Lure\Fly: Corn, nymph
Fish Caught: 3 x rainbow trout @ 12 inches
4 x rainbow trout @ 18 inches
Comments: The smaller trout go crazy for corn on a float in the settled water, and the bigger ones love my brown nymph.
