Went back to big river arm again. Conditions were perfect but the trout werne't biting. Hard work to get what we did. Caught bigger fish on tassies in gold pattern & smaller fish on stump jumpers. Persistance paid off in the end, will try again soon. |

Trolled around the mouth of big river and Howqua arm, very productive with 6 nice pan sized trout being caught. Back on the house boat we moored in big river and bobbed for reddies, we couldn't stop catching them. |

Went trolling for the first time. Used tassie devils, rapalas & stump jumpers. Caught 1 fish on stump jumper & the rest on tassie devils. Best colour was gold with yellow wings .1 redfin on rapala. best depth was 2-10m. Had a great weekend, I will be back |

Went down to Eildon for the weekend, went and fished the dam for the first day and I wasn't getting anything on anything, then 1 roach on corn. Later in the day the fisheries came down and put 10,000 rainbow trout in and they ended up jumping on our lures. Next day fished the pondage with no luck but saw a mammoth rainbow leap out of the water, would have been 10pound+, fished the lake again on the last day and got 2 rainbows, good fun, be back to get a big one next time. |
