Location: Lake Eildon Time: 7am-3pm

Target Fish: Trout, redfin

Fish Caught

3 x redfin @ 25cm average
1 x rainbow trout @ 35cm
1 x Murray cod @ 90cm

Comments: Started on the water early chasing trout and reddies. Fishing was very slow and cold. Decided to get the cod gear out and trolled along a snaggy bank and 300m later latched on to a 90 cm cod. He was in very good condition and was released unharmed. (See photo in Gallery section.)

None

Comments: Lake was low, only saw one other person catch an undersize trout and redfin. Strong winds made keeping tight lines difficult.

Target Fish: Trout, rainbow, brown
Bait\Lure\Fly: Tassie devil
Fish Caught

4 x brown trout @ 30cm-40cm
1 x rainbow trout @ 35cm

Comments: Lake was low but the fish were biting as soon as we got the boat in the water. 11am till about midday and we had the four browns and then after 2 hours of nothing we caught the last and thought we would call it a day. Good fun day. All fish caught on pink Tassie devils. (See photo in Gallery section.)
