Started on the water early chasing trout and reddies. Fishing was very slow and cold. Decided to get the cod gear out and trolled along a snaggy bank and 300m later latched on to a 90 cm cod. He was in very good condition and was released unharmed. (See photo in Gallery section.) |

Lake was low, only saw one other person catch an undersize trout and redfin. Strong winds made keeping tight lines difficult. |

Lake was low but the fish were biting as soon as we got the boat in the water. 11am till about midday and we had the four browns and then after 2 hours of nothing we caught the last and thought we would call it a day. Good fun day. All fish caught on pink Tassie devils. (See photo in Gallery section.) |

Best day I have had at Eildon for years. Not a lot of fish for the time put in but all fish were quality fish. |

Me and my brother took a blow up boat out to a barge in the lake and dropped down our lines with worms and were getting hits straight away. We chucked them all back, it was a good day and we hope to go back up there soon. |

Had to be calm and sunny, drove boat over to rising fish then cast a small rainbow squidgy wriggler to it - smashed every time. |
