Fished at the pines at junction camp. I got the redfin at 6:00am and my mate got the yellowbelly at about 8:00am. Both on soft plastics. We caught the carp on worms and they tasted excellent. |

22 fish caught between two of us, most on Jackalls in green colours. Fish holding 2-5 meters out from the bank. Ultra slow retrieve, just enough to get the Jackall to "shimmer". |

Beautiful weekend on the water. Water was like glass! Tried for the yellowbelly but didn't have any success. No one seemed to be catching anything other then browns. All small ones released. |
