Great Day, very warm. Fishing at the lower pondage, on the pier.
Chucked in pink powerbait, very good trout bait. After a while had a few nibbles and bites. |

Fished the upper pondage from Eildon Caravan Park. Fished mainly with tassie devils and power bait. Caught a nice size yellowbelly on a pink tassie devil at about 10am on the 25th Jan.
Water level was low and caught using a slow retrieval. |

Took my son Aaron for the day. Fished up near the footy oval. Caught 2 on lures and one on Gents under a float. Also dragged out the fly rod for a flick. Saw a couple of huge rainbows a matter of 5 to 10 meters away and presented a couple of dry flys without luck. All fish released unharmed to grow a bit. Overcast but a beautiful day out in the fresh air. |
