Number of fish were caught over a three day period - great fun but not many monsters biting there at the minute. The tommy was caught from the wharf fishing against the structure

The bottom lake is a fantastic lake for fishing. Getting your boat out to the heart of the lake has some challanges with the low water level at times around the boat ramp. Conditions perfect, but very little wind for drifting. |

Went on our annual Mallacoota trip targeting big dusky flathead, 5 people, 2 boats, didn't manage to find too many, biggest was 62cm followed by a couple around the 50 cm mark, was a bit windy to drift around. Full moon so we thought we would try our luck with the mulloway. Fished from 8.30 pm until 11 pm and got one on the first night weighing 9 kg and on the second night weighing 5.5 kgs. Lot of tailor biting through soft plastics, salmon were unbearable and we only kept about 5 of the too many we caught. |

Went to Mallacoota for 3 days and the fishing went off, every fish was hitting soft plastics and anywhere you went there was quality fish. |
