Comments: Went to Barmah for the Easter weekend, left the boat at home as I've just got out of hospital. Walked the banks of the river casting lures and baits at the various timber. The river is very low and the mud very soft. While sitting back having a bite to eat I got absolutely smashed on a good size yabby and I knew I was in for a good fight. After several powerful runs into the middle of the river and back again, under logs and back out, I was sure I had a reasonable sought of fish on the other end of the line, but it hadn't come up yet. When I finally got it in close to the bank and it appeared out of the murky depth, I almost fell over and the fish took off again. It was a huge yella, a minute or so later I had the big fella sitting on the bank and was taking a few pics. (See photo in Gallery section.)
