Put back more than 30 undersized fish in about 1 hour of fishing. Larger pinkies caught on Cal Squid, not far from the black stick. Lots of boats in deeper water not catching much, better in the closer reefs. |

Got the boat out today, great day for fishing as the bay was flat as and no wind. Tried out my secret home-made burley, got a school of sweep going crazy and got my bag limit within an hour . Nothing else on the bite, pippies worked well also, cant wait til next time. |

Long day with no luck. At Altona a couple of guys got salmon, but only 3 caught collectively. I had no luck, then moved to Williamstown to try between the boats on the pier with no luck either. Hope Joey and Muzza had better luck at Altona after I left... |

My first report here and also my first time to Altona pier. Very windy and it rained-only a hand full of people fishing. Just caught toadies but enjoyed it and will be returning. |

G'day guys, I was out there from 3pm and not 1 bite. As soon as high tide arrived and sun set was upon us the samon were going nuts around the pier. At that time it was about 5pm and onwards. Good luck! |
