2 of us fished the same way both evenings, not many squid about, caught one squid on a small cybervibe in 6m of water (see photo in Gallery section). Caught numerous tiny pinkies on pilchard chunks, drifting in 5-7m of water, but they only started biting as the sun started to set. |

Fished in 2.5-3m over patchy reef near Brighton pier. Mushed bread/tuna oil burley, took the gars a while to find us but they stayed around, loving bread as bait (Helgas). |

Caught all fish in 6.5m of water out from Brighton. Got pulled up by both fisheries and the police for checks throughout the day, we must have looked dodgy. Biggest flatty caught on a small cybervibe. |

Fished brighton pier during and after sunset 4 times in the last two weeks. Have seen a few ink spots on the pier but only saw a few squid caught on one night, otherwise haven't seen anyone having any luck. |
