Fished SP only for 30 min from 2:30pm (high tide at 12pm) and caught a gurnard which I released. Baited 2 surf rods and whiting rod in the evening then took my SP rod for a walk along the pier. All 3 fish caught in same spot (1m before yellow tower) on same SP; 3" lime tiger minnow. Only saw 1 other fish caught- a pinkie on prawn right beside my bait rods (See photo in Gallery section). |

Went out on the boat for whiting first. They were quite hard to find today and most boats hard trouble finding the fish. In the end got 5 and a big flathead. Before we went back to shore we went for a quick drift for calamari. Got a good bag. We used natural brown coloured jigs, which worked very well. |

Spent a few hours off the end of pier. Cam got a squid, waters got a massive flathead, biggest I've seen from Port Phillip Bay. Lots of sea lice could not keep bait in water kept getting destroyed by lice. No good. Will add photo of flathead soon. |

Fished run-out tide. Whiting were caught in spurts, 1/2 hour on - 1/2 hour off. Couldn't get a bite on squid. Caught a big boppa flathead on whiting rod @ 3kg. Good fun. |
