Comments:

Other blokes were catching some bream but when asked what they are catching they say nothing and won't tell you the bait they use!

4 x mullet @ 15cm or less

Comments:

Bait kept disappearing, then I tried a float with size 10 hooks and the little buggers were still too small to fit on the hook. All were released.

1 x 11 armed starfish @ big
1 x crab @ small
1 x squid @ baby

Comments:

Starfish and crab thrown back in the water. Got 1 small bite just off the edge of the pier and could see the fish, just couldn't hook it. A lot of small fish around the pier.

Comments:

Terrible day for fishing. Extremely windy and the water was very choppy. Hardly any bites at all. Relaxing though.

1 x bream @ 25cm
3 x mullet @ 20cm
1 x trevally @ 20cm

Comments:

Cast around the moored boats in the harbour. Lots of small bites and the tevally was a bit of a surprise. All fish were released.

8 x flathead @ 30cm+
3 x squid @ 28cm-35cm
3 x pinkies @ 30cm-35cm

Comments:

Started the morning drifting from midway to Point Cook towards Altona pier. Moved out to 10m of water for flatties on the drift using the squid for bait. Moved to the inshore reefs for the evening and caught the pinkies on the out-going tied.
