Got to Rye back beach at about 12am, rigged up with the size 6 star sinker and gang hooks with pilchards to catch that ever elusive gummy shark. Unfortunately it stayed elusive, but ended up catching a few salmon and mullet as the sun came up the next morning. Oh and a cold due to staying up all night fishing. |

Six salmon (2 under and returned) just to the left of reef on Rye Back Beach. Biting like crazy and really gulping it down. Still trying for that elusive gummy. |
